Greetings!  We are excited to introduce you to Sococo.  A new platform to connect us all in a virtual workplace.

You may think that Sococo is another online platform to help us communicate with each other similar to email, MS Teams, Evernote chat, etc...  While Sococo has built-in ways to communicate, we should not view Sococo as being analogous to another communication tool.  Instead, Sococo should be seen as analogous to a physical office.  In other words, you don't use Sococo for work.  You come to work at Sococo.  You should log on when you are in the office and this should be the first place you look to determine the availability of a staff member to determine the form of communication.  The ability for all of us to be visible and see each other gives us a "sense of presence" that is oftentimes lost with virtual offices.  This is crucial for collaboration, unity and healthy communication for our projects and to achieve our tasks and goals. 

The ability to know when a staff member is available for a quick "knock on the door" chat is a valuable connection that will help eliminate delays and lags in communication.
