In order to properly understand and represent the vision of the Institute, it is critical that you comprehend the issues, needs, and opportunities we are designed to address.  To help you quickly and yet thoroughly get a handle on the important subjects, we have created several outstanding video presentations for your study, and for you to share with others.  All of these videos are brief in time but heavy in insight, all dealing with the same critical issues but in a slightly different manner.

The video by Dr. Phillips (Leadership Dvelopment Training, by Dr. Keith Phillips) gives a compelling, clear, and concise overview of the need for quality Christian leadership education in the city, with a focus on how World Impact can help your get started in setting up your training Center.  This is most suitable for introducing suburban communities to TUMI's vision.

Dr. Davis's video (Introduction to The Urban Ministry Institute Link ) outlines the challenge of the city as it relates to the need for urban leaders to be equipped for ministry, and the shortcomings of our traditional theological educational structures to provide them.  He persuasively shows how TUMI answers these pressing concerns, and appeals to churches and organizations to join TUMI with the hope of raising up a new generation of qualified spiritual laborers for the Kingdom.  This video can be shown in urban churches to orient and challenge them to consider starting a satellite in their church or ministry organization.

Finally, the last video presentation (History of World Impact and The Urban Ministry Institute) represents a short course for those who have knowledge either of World Impact or TUMI as it emerged in its missions history.  This will "fill the gaps" for all those wanting to know how World Impact came to begin its mission in the inner city, as well as the forces behind the formation and expansion of the Institute as a premiere urban leadership education center.
