Join Our Vision: Start a Satellite through Your Church or Organization
World Impact is committed to planting as many churches as possible among America’s urban poor. This vision of multiplying churches in new movements is simply too comprehensive for any one mission organization or training institution. To attain this goal, God will need to raise up an entire generation of churches, denominations, and organizations to join forces for a new thrust of evangelism and church planting among the lost in the cities of America!
You can join our vision by starting a training center, a TUMI satellite, in your church or ministry. A “satellite” of the Institute is a sister ministry, whether located in a church, Christian organization, or mission that meets our requirements to equip leaders for the urban church. Simply put, a satellite is a partner, a group of Christians who have committed themselves to train workers for the urban harvest, whether pastors or lay leaders. Moreover, a satellite seeks to maintain its own identity and independence, while at the same time, associating fully with TUMI, taking advantage of our staff, curricula, and experience as we strive together to raise up faithful laborers for the harvest (Matt. 9.35-38). Our desire is to provide each satellite with the most affordable and excellent theological resources that we can. We believe that making our experience and resources available will enable you to create your own, unique training program that best suits your students and ministry situation.
