Students completing some or all of TUMI’s training modules can apply for a credit evaluation of up to 30 credits for past ministry training or experience through a portfolio process.
How it works:
- You take an online course that trains you to document your learning in a portfolio.
- You pay City Vision $350 for a 3 credit portfolio course that enables the review of up to 30 college credits from TUMI courses.
City Vision follows the prior learning assessment standards of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL). A key aspect of these standards is that credit is granted for demonstrating learning, not just having experience. Credit can be granted both for experience and for training in unaccredited programs. Credit is not guaranteed, as students must demonstrate competency according to our assessment process based on CAEL standards.
