World Impact, Inc, Our Parent Ministry

World Impact is a Christian missions organization committed to facilitating church-planting movements by evangelizing, equipping and empowering America’s unchurched urban poor. Our purpose is to honor and glorify God and delight in Him among the unchurhced urban poor by knowing God and making Him known. Our vision is to recruit, empower, and release urban leaders who will plant churches and launch indigenous church planting movements. Our Global Ends Statement, or our commitment is to see the empowered urban poor advancing God's Kingdom in every city through the local church.

The Urban Ministry Institute was founded by and serves under the auspices and authority of its parent organization, World Impact, Inc., and seeks to advance the Kingdom in sync with its purpose and vision. In 1995 World Impact established The Urban Ministry Institute in order to facilitate its Kingdom advance in urban America. Designed to equip churches and organizations to launch their own training centers, TUMI is partnering with churches, denominations, ministries and organizations around the world.
